Do I receive a proof before production?

What file formats do you accept?
We prefer vector formats (AI, EPS, PDF) for best results, but accept PNG, JPG, and PSD. Our design team can assist with any format.
What's the minimum order quantity?
We accommodate both small boutique orders and large bulk production with competitive pricing across all quantities.
What are typical turnaround times?
Production time depends on the patch type and quantity. We confirm the exact timeline once you approve your free digital proof. If you have a deadline, tell us when you order and we'll tell you straight away whether it's doable.
How much do custom patches cost?
Pricing depends on size, quantity, type, and backing. Starting prices begin at $1.25/piece. Quantity discounts start at 51 pieces: 5% off at 51–200, 10% at 201–500, 15% at 501–1,000, and 20–25% at 1,000+. Final discount depends on product type, size, and artwork complexity. What's your minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum, so you can order as few as one piece. No setup fees, no hidden charges.
How long does production take?
Production time depends on the product type and quantity. After you approve your free digital proof we confirm the exact timeline for your order, and rush turnaround is available on request for a small priority fee. If you have a deadline, tell us when you order and we'll let you know if it's doable.
Do I get a free digital proof before production?
Yes. You get a free digital proof within 24-48 hours of ordering. Review it, ask for basic changes at no cost, and approve before we make anything.
What file formats do you accept?
Vector files like AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG work best. You can also send PNG, JPG, or even a rough sketch. Our design team will clean it up and send you a proof before production.
What backing options are available?
Iron-on, peel-and-stick (adhesive), Velcro (hook & loop), and sew-on. We'll recommend the best one for how you'll use the patch during the proof stage.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide, and shipping is free on every order.
What's your quality guarantee?

Embroidered Patches
Embroidered vs woven: which should I pick?
Embroidered is textured and bold (great for logos and uniforms). [Woven patches](/products/woven-patches) use finer thread for small text and fine detail. Not sure? Send your art and we'll recommend.
Can you match my brand colors?
Yes. We match thread colors as closely as possible and confirm everything on the proof before production.
Do you send a proof before production?

What backing should I choose?
Iron-on is great for DIY application, Velcro is perfect for gear, and sew-on is the most universal. If unsure, choose 'Not sure' and we'll recommend.
Iron-On Patches
How do I apply an iron-on patch?
Place the patch adhesive-side down, cover it with a thin pressing cloth, and press firmly with a household iron or a heat press. Let it cool before handling. No iron? A heat press works too, or you can sew the patch on. See our full step-by-step guide on how to apply iron-on patches.
How long do iron-on patches last?
With proper application and normal care they hold up well to regular wear and washing. For the most secure hold, add a few stitches around the edge.
Will iron-on patches come off in the wash?
When applied correctly they stay put through normal washing. Wash inside-out, avoid high heat, and skip fabric softener. Edges can lift over time, so stitching the perimeter adds durability.
Can you iron a patch onto leather or nylon?
We do not recommend it. Heat can damage leather and faux leather, and nylon or waterproof shells resist the adhesive. For those, choose sew-on or velcro backing instead.
What's the difference between iron-on, sew-on, and velcro backing?
Iron-on applies with heat and no sewing. Sew-on is the most permanent. Velcro lets you swap patches on and off gear and uniforms. We can recommend the best one for your use.

Chenille Patches
Chenille vs embroidered for school/sports?
Chenille is soft and plush (iconic for letterman jackets and awards). Embroidered is stitched and durable (best for uniforms and detailed logos).
Can you do small text on chenille?
Chenille is best for bold letters/numbers. For small text, woven or embroidered usually works better.
Is chenille only for jackets?
No. It's great for hoodies, sweaters, and bags too — anywhere you want that varsity texture.
Do you offer iron-on backing?
Often yes, depending on the design and size. We'll confirm the best backing on your proof.
Do I approve before production?
Yes. Every order includes a free proof and revision stage.
PVC Patches
PVC vs embroidered for outdoor use?
PVC is waterproof and handles mud, sweat, and heavy wear. Embroidered is classic stitched texture but not waterproof. For outdoor/tactical, choose PVC.
Can you do 3D raised effects?
Yes. Choose 3D and we'll confirm the depth and layers on your proof.
Do PVC patches come with Velcro?
Yes. Hook-side Velcro backing is available and mates with any standard loop panel on bags, vests, and uniforms.
Will tiny text show clearly?
PVC can hold good detail, but for extremely tiny text, woven patches may be better.
PVC vs silicone patches: what is the difference?
PVC is rugged and holds fine detail with bold raised lines, best for tactical and outdoor use. Silicone is softer with a modern look, better for hats and lifestyle brands. Both are waterproof.
Custom Silicone Patches
What are silicone patches made of?
They're molded from liquid silicone rubber into a raised design, unlike PVC patches, which are cast from a softer vinyl compound into a flatter finish.
Are silicone patches better than PVC for gym or swim gear?
For anything that stretches or gets wet often, yes. Silicone flexes with stretch fabrics and holds up to chlorine and sweat better than PVC, which can stiffen and crack over repeated exposure.
Do silicone patches crack over time?
Silicone resists cracking and warping noticeably better than PVC, especially with heat and repeated washing. On rigid, non-stretch surfaces like jacket panels that see little heat or flex, the difference between the two is much smaller.
Can silicone patches go on swimwear or wetsuits?
Yes. Silicone's flex and water resistance make it a common choice for swim caps, rash guards, and wetsuits.
How do I attach a silicone patch?
Most orders use either a heat-press backing or a peel-and-stick adhesive. We'll confirm the right option for your fabric on your free proof.
Are silicone patches washable?
Yes, they're built to handle regular washing. Peel-and-stick backings hold up best with hand washing or gentle cycles; heat-pressed backings tolerate machine washing better.
Can I get fine detail or small text on a silicone patch?
Silicone works best with clean shapes, bold logos, and simple lines. Very fine text or gradients read better on woven or sublimated patches.
Is a silicone patch the same thing as a rubber patch?
"Rubber patch" is a general term buyers use for both silicone and PVC, so it depends which one you actually mean. Silicone has a softer, matte, raised feel and flexes well on stretch fabrics; PVC is glossier, holds sharper fine detail, and usually costs less, and it's the better fit for flat, non-stretch surfaces.
Can you match my logo colors?

What backing should I choose for hats?
Structured or curved cap panels usually need a heat-press backing, since peel-and-stick can lift on curved surfaces. We'll confirm the best option on your proof.
Leather Patches
Can leather patches be washed?
Many leather patches hold up well, but washing conditions vary. We'll recommend the best backing and placement for durability.
Can you do color fills?
Leather patches are usually tone-on-tone or high-contrast engraving. If you need full color, printed/sublimated patches are better.
Are they good for tiny text?
Small text can work, but ultra-tiny details may not read well. We'll advise on the proof.

Sublimated Patches
What are sublimated patches?
Sublimated patches use dye sublimation to print full-color designs directly into the fabric. The color becomes part of the material instead of sitting on top, so it won't peel or crack, and the surface stays smooth and flat.
What's the difference between sublimated and embroidered patches?
Sublimated patches have a smooth, printed surface with no raised texture. They're best for gradients and photos. Embroidered patches have a classic stitched texture and work better for bold logos and uniforms. If your design has smooth color transitions or fine detail, sublimated is the better call.
What is a subli patch?
Subli patch is short for sublimated patch. It's the same product: a patch printed with dye sublimation for full, vivid color that runs edge to edge.
What is dye sublimation for patches?
Dye sublimation is a printing process where heat turns dye into a gas that bonds directly into the fabric fibers. The result is vivid, durable color that's part of the material itself, not a coating on top of it.
What border options are available for sublimated patches?
Sublimated patches can have a merrow border (a stitched overlock edge) or a heat-cut die-cut edge that follows the exact shape of your design.
Is there a minimum order for sublimated patches?

Is a sublimated patch the same as a printed patch?
Yes. Printed patches and sublimated patches are the same product. Both use dye sublimation to print full-color designs into the fabric, so however you search for it, you'll end up looking at the same patch.

Both offer a modern look. Flex is often lighter; silicone tends to have a soft-touch rubber feel.
